Case
The Case
The case was custom built for Six String Nation by Al Williams and his team at Calton Cases Canada, then based in Calgary and a licensee of the original company started by Keith Calton near London, England. Al and his wife Trudy Graham were the first people to affix additional materials to the case interior (details below).
Shortly thereafter, Al and Trudy retired and the license to manufacture Calton in Canada was sold to an English buyer based in New Brunswick.
By 2011, Calton had withdrawn the license to the new Canadian franchise and Calton Cases Canada ceased to exist. Calton Cases is now headquartered in Austin, Texas.
